How do you get away with charging someone for 1 hrs. Work 700 dollars ,you all need to post your prices ,no body will ever tell you the prices upfront it's a scam especially if you get money back they think their getting a piece .What a f-----g rip off especially the office at **********.
2yrs in a row Jackson Hewitt makes you do the work to track down your taxes. I don't understand why I pay them to file my taxes. They cause so much undue stress. Life is already stressful as it is. I will never use their services again. I originally filed on 8/17/2022. On 9/22/2022 they had to file a paper return which has not been submitted because they need my signature. It would have been nice to be informed. Here it is October and I am still tracking....
**** and dropped off my wife and my w-2's and 1099's and they never filed the return. When I questioned the preparer she gave me attitude and then ghosted us (fortunately for me, I smelled a rat and recorded the calls) and I am still dealing with this because she neglected to file for an extention. I have already reached out to their home office and am waiting for resolve. My lawyer may be getting involved at this point.Would not recommend them at all.
**********, ***** JACKSON HEWITT Total Rip Off, I am 53 years old and I have NEVER paid the amount of money my daughter just paid, 1/2 of her refund. $494 to the Jackson Hewitt office that just did what is considered simple taxes. I had Jackson Hewitt do my taxes for me for 2021. First of all, they charged me over a hundred dollars more than I had been quoted for a simple tax return, with no itemizing, etc. The worst thing is that the employee I dealt with was given all my bank account information so he could send what I owed electronically. He never did this, so now I was late paying my taxes and was also charged late fees and interest. Total deceit on Jackson Hewitt. I was told I would be getting $1520 refund from federal and it ended up with a $120 refund, yet, I was charged a full service fee from Jackson Hewitt. Now, I need a copy of my tax documents (****) and I am unable to contact anyone to help me. There service number says "your estimate wait time is 20 minutes. I hate Hewitt Jackson.I always have trouble getting my money.I never get refunded the fees.Afew years ago,I couldn't use the card so I called and got a check.It was almost impossible to cash the check.I had to spend a fortune for Cliff's check cashing to call and argue with Serve a.k.a. Hewitt Jackson because they said they never sent me a check.This year,I said I didn't want a card.I was given a card anyway.They won't let me register the card.

I went in an file my taxes with jackson hewitt she told me that I'll just get back 358 dollars so i got back 103 dollars but i never received the 258 so i been checking every day about my money until i got this email come to find out that they took my money an charge me for something i didn't want the girl that did my taxes never told me if i wanted so when it came time to sign the papers i sign but she told me that i was getting back 358 not 103 dollars so i feel I've been rob out of my money
