Why didn't I read these reviews before I paid Jackson Hewitt $3199. It was the worst decision I have ever made. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS no matter what! Horrible customer **********************, I would wait sometimes weeks to get an answer to an email. I have to do redo every return they did for me already had to meet the State IRS and meeting with the Federal IRS in two weeks because of the mistake JH made...total disaster....nightmare.....ZERO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION

I switched from H&R block to see if they were better or cheaper since they had a half off coupon. However, they were not cheaper even with the half off coupon and the tax preparer was not very knowledgeable. There original price was twice that of H&R block and I had less paperwork than last year's taxes. I would not recommend anybody use them ever!

I went to JH in ********* ********* ******************. My taxes was prepared by Ms.***** ,she was great very helpful I'm am grateful that I went there I couldn't have had a better agent she was very very helpful she prepared my wife's as well great experience I plan too keep in touch and return back to JH next tax season. Thank you Ms.***** you were great.

Shout out to **** at *******************! She made getting my taxes being done relaxing. She is truly an amazing person. I would recommend her to everyone she is very professional and kind!

The people in the office are very unprofessional and they refused to refund our money for services they didn't give. Also they wouldn't tell us what we owed the state.

Customer for over 15 years. DONE with them. Last year I paid ****** for filing simple form with them this year the same form filing costs me ******. Only after taxes filed do they tell you the costs. Local office had to call a supervisor to put in the senior discount and then cost popped up in computer. No one seems to be able to explain the discrepancy and when local manager called supervisor about it the next day she told her when I paid I agreed to the cost. Jackson Hewitt is a total rip off. DO NOT GO for your tax service. I had a very simple return with four w-2s and a ****. It took her less than an hour to do and she wasnt even clear on my deductions and I had to ****** myself and tell the client what I could claim. I ask another location located inside ******* and was told a return should be no more than $250. They charged me $500 for a $724 federal return. They then charge a so called bank fee just to handle your return and send to your bank. Same thing the *** does for fre... read more

I went to Jackson Hewitt last year for the first time. Im a single mom. I dont own a house, I rent. They had an offer if you were a first time customer you get $100 off. I didnt get that. Then I told her I was upset with H&R Block charging me $400 every year for my taxes. She didnt say a word she then did my taxes and charged me $581!! So now I have to go and find another tax service. But both HRBlock and Jackson Hewitt can ki$$ my @**
