We stayed here from April 6th to the 10th! Excellent Hotel Staff! Justin upgraded us to an Ocean Front room! It made our stay!! The housekeeping staff were great! Mambos restaurant has the best servers and nightly entertainment! An excellent hotel for families! I will recommend this hotel to friends and family and I look forward to my next visit when I'm back in Florida! Also ...check out Nolans Irish Pub...great Irish music & staff! �
Booked this hotel in advance before coming down to set sail on our cruise. We checked in Thursday 4/6/17 after 10 hours of exhausting driving. We get to our room and look around. My husband and I both work for a pest control company. As we were checking things out we discovered that our room had BED BUGS. � went to the front desk and told the guy. 4/7-4/9/17 Our room was clean, except for the floor. I needed a good mop and broom. Shower and toilet were clean. I was there to celebrate my birthday so we didn't really care about being updated and having cute decor. The beach was wonderful. We didn't check out the pool so no opinion on that. The buffet was fairly decent. I was really disappointed in the fruit selection. What was there was old and bruised. Not appetizing. I want to start by saying that my husband, 4 yr old daughter and I are pretty easy to please. I'll start by saying the lobby and grounds are pretty nice. The beach access is awesome! The kiddie pool has a pirate ship etc. the big pool goes to 8 ft and is heated. There is a poolside bar etc. There is plenty to do there and I think that is what they are banking on. We could hardly open the door because it was sticking and then had to slam to shut it...I am sure neighbors loves that and the door had a crack at the bottom of it. Water didn't work right...one minute hot next minute cold and tub didn't work although don't think I would have sat in it. Oh and we complained so Rachel told us someone was on the way and this was around 7:30pm. Nasty. Room not serviced. Asked for towels for over an hour. Bathroom was filthy. I can't get out of here fast enough.
No garbage cans??? No coffee! Dirty coffee pot! No ashtrays!
The room wasn't the greatest, but we didn't spend much time in there. The outside/ surrounding things to do were awesome & pretty nice/ clean. I loved the Pirateship pool/ pool area & the Smores idea was my favorite!!! Very fun & lively all weekend! You definitely pay for the activities on the resort instead of the rooms. Rooms need to be upgraded! Had a fun time though!
Awesome hotel for the family! The 2 pools are great, my 6 year old loved the pirate ship. We were a bit worried after reading reviews online but once we arrived we were very pleased. People complained about the rooms being older but it was nothing more than a little wear and tear from the ocean water and breeze! Definitely going back soon.
