2nd time here been 4 years we had a better room this remind me of beING in a bad bad neighborhood
Last time we came here, I hated to leave. This weekend, I couldn't wait to check out. I ended up paying an arm & a leg because it's Spring Break, and there was some type of motorcycle event going on, but I had a friend in town, & my last experience was great, so I booked. Front desk staff was wonderful, but my room was far from it. Huge gap around the door, so anyone walking past your room sounds like they're IN it, the mini-fridge smelled like it hadn't been opened for months, & it stunk to high heaven. I would have given it a 3 until we ran into a roach in the bathtub. Floors are disgustingly filthy. One of the outlets caused my moms phone to go haywire. The mini fridge made loud noises most of the night. Great proximity to the beach and Mambos has good food. That's it. Again would have rated it better and maybe would have came back IF the roach didn't show up.
It's ok, close to Beach(big plus)! Our TV didn't work but we called and they brought us another. My sister's room had an old TV.lol.. didn't know they still exist. Alot of unsupervised kids, more of a family oriented place.
Great place for families or couples. Rooms could use some updating but great pool areas, 1 for grown ups and 1 for kids with lots of play areas. Great restaurant and bar (Mambos / Jamaican me crazy), sitting areas with S'mores fire pits and great beach area on the Atlantic!
Even hard to get three stars it is what it is we went on a local staycation for the kids for spring break it's a crapshoot that's for sure the rooms are wore out and not very clean and falling apart the pool is okay and the kids enjoy it for a moment but it actually gets old pretty quick depending on your kids age. I love this place I try staying at least twice a month, love the pool , I see some people are not happy with the rooms , there are a lot of rooms some rooms might be cheaper because they have not been remodeled yet . Always ask to see room before checking in any hotel . Atmosphere is great staff great and they are very accommodating !
The rooms were gross the foor wouldnt shut are bed was broke we tryed to call some one to come fix it tgey never showed up tge toliets overflow the bathroom tub wouldn't drain but the out side places were very nice
