Literally the WORST billing department ever. I’m appalled as a medical professional to see how horrendous the Inova billing system is. Unresponsive, lying about being out of network, sending large bills to patients and refusing to bill insurance...sounds like a scam to me. I worry about those who unknowingly overpay the large bills that are mailed to them in direct breach of insurance contracts. HAVE YOUR INSURANCE CONTACT THEM IF YOU HAVE ISSUES!!

I know ER's prices are high, but my son went in for 3 stitches in his thumb. Next time we'll for sure take the time to find an Urgent care within his insurance plan. As the total charge was $2300. No xrays, no extra care, just 3 stitches, and they didn't even clean the cut. They handed him the cleanser and a scrub brush and made him do it himself. Sad!

Was there for 2 nights. Er did get me in quickly but they put me in a room with a roommate. She was gagging and throwing up all night while it was suspected that I had the flu. There had to be infection concerns with us in the same room. I could also see all of her meds, names and concerns on the board in the shared room. That seems like a HIPPA concern. I'm disgusted to learn that Inova is getting rid of the naturopathic doctors at what was formerly Nova Medical in Ashburn. The treatment and care we received at that former facility was better than any we had received elsewhere in northern Virginia. We have recommended many people in the past 4 years and now have to let them know that the reasons for going there, the unique partnership of conventional and naturopathic doctors working together not longer exist. Front desk people are awful. They are not very helpful and don’t answer the phone when trying to make an appointment.
I love your health system....why have you stopped taking Tricare????
