The Purcellville Inova Urgent Care location closes frequently, without warning, and most recently two weekends in a row. That leaves those of us with regular treatment receiving allergy shots "high and dry," messing up our dosing schedule and delaying treatment.
You suck as far as geriatric care. My 97 1/2 year old widowed mother with a bit of dementia and a DNR was taken to you with a broken femur Mar 17. It was decided surgery had to be done to put a pin in the bone to stop the pain. The surgery was done, but she did not receive adequate pain medication before or after the surgery. She kept screaming "just shoot me". She was discharged to hospice after 3 days and the hospice nurse said immediately "Get her a Fentanyl patch!" which then took 2 hour to come up from pharmacy. Chat Conversation Start 9:21AM Comment about Inova urgent care - west springfield. My 6 year old came home Friday evening having been at camp and then at a friends house. Took one look at him and could see he likely had strep. Jumped into the car and raced to urgent care center near my house--got there about 7:56pm. Now I know it closes at 8pm, but I was hoping. Simple request, I called in today to re-verify for my appointment which was made two weeks ago, and asked if there were any cancellations for me to schedule a day earlier. Angie from Inova Medical Group Neurology Arlington is possibly one of the worst receptionist operator. Doesn't even seem to enjoy her job, and was rude, and uninformative. If anyone would like to hear the monitored call, I called in exactly at 2:13PM on 4/25. Very unprofessional.
I had known Inova for a very long time and was dedicated to the system. I then had long-term respiratory, neurological, and orthopedic problems from safety problems. While my values are Integrity, Truth, Safety, Accountability and Responsibility, I detest Lies, Aggression, and Threats. All is formally documented. I no longer respect this system.
