On a trip to Florence, Italy in 1983, Il Giardino founder Tony Gargiulo saw a wood burning oven and knew it would be the centerpiece for the soon-to-open restaurant. The first in Virginia, our oven serves up fresh focaccia bread and pizza to order. All of our delicious menu items are prepared with the freshest and highest quality ingredients we can find. We had an excellent 55th anniversary dinner with family. The service and food were great! Our son, Steve Marzolf made it an evening full of surprises, with Billy Batte. We love Billy and his many musical talents. I wish we lived closer, so we could we could visit Il Giardino’s more often. ❤️
Il Giardino is a classic Italian restaurant that never disappoints. they are consistent in their high quality and outstanding service. I have been going there for years and have enjoyed every visit. every time I leave, I can't wait to get back to have more of their delicious food. And the entertainment Tuesday through Saturday is amazing. Billy Batte puts on quite a show playing keyboard, fiddle and singing. You never know what he is going to play next.
