On a trip to Florence, Italy in 1983, Il Giardino founder Tony Gargiulo saw a wood burning oven and knew it would be the centerpiece for the soon-to-open restaurant. The first in Virginia, our oven serves up fresh focaccia bread and pizza to order. All of our delicious menu items are prepared with the freshest and highest quality ingredients we can find. We have been vacationing in Virginia Beach for over 20 years. We never miss an opportunity to have dinner at this restaurant. It is our favorite spot at the beach. The fettuccine Alfredo has always been my kids favorite since they were little. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting this area
