On a trip to Florence, Italy in 1983, Il Giardino founder Tony Gargiulo saw a wood burning oven and knew it would be the centerpiece for the soon-to-open restaurant. The first in Virginia, our oven serves up fresh focaccia bread and pizza to order. All of our delicious menu items are prepared with the freshest and highest quality ingredients we can find. First impression walking in...a very classy visual inside that speaks volumes with an elegant, but not gaudy, decorum and atmosphere. The demeanor and attention from the wait staff compliment the establishment. The dining experience was excellent from drinks, to timeliness, to food presentation and taste, to the piano bar entertainment. I always recommend this high quality ristorante to the people I interact with. My sincere compliments to the owner and staff. Never disappointed.

excellent service. although a little pricey by some people's standard, you get what you pay for here. good food, large portions, etc. overall an excellent dining experience.
