Can someone please help me? I was guaranteed delivery today and cancelled appointments to make sure I'd be here since the next available day was a week away. Then they called to say they "fprgot to put my order on the truck". Then they said they'd be here anyway. I have to leave for another appointment and have no idea where the team is and of course I can't get in touch with anyone at Ikea and been on hold for nearly an hour listening to the same infuriating message. Am I going to receive the $600+ of merchandise I paid for... read more
I've spent the past 2 months trying to get a refund for a broken item delivered home...after 10 conversations waiting for an avg. of 2 hours on the phone and being transferred to hundreds of people, I still don't have that refund and no one can help. This is not the first time. Ikea has a really disorganized system, especially for home delivery, bad customer service and people who don't know what they're doing and don't care. As much as I like their furniture, I am not buying anything there anymore...and I'll make sure I'll ... read more
What a dump. After living in Milan for 5 years I used Ikea frequently. I moved to NYC and let's just say Ikea Brooklyn is the WORST in customer service and as a store in general. Only half of my items arrived after a purchase of more than. $2,000. Then after my furniture arrived, many pieces were missing. Never EVER use Ikea Brooklyn. It should be shut down and is a disgrace as a representation of what IKEA really is.
Poor, really poor. Sales people tried, but just so crowded, they were tired, & oppressed. I felt uncomfortable while just seeking the restaurant, & seeing the long line there, as well as the crowd, just elected to visit another store. I don't know how this store will survive, perhaps it needs to raise prices to reduce customers!
The worst experience shopping in any IKEA store I have a had you pay for customer pickup merchandise really quick you got to spend 3 hours that I will never get back in my life picking up for the merchandise that is ridiculous
The people who work what few registers are open at the height of the work day are only worried about what time they go home. Those with any authority walk by enormous lines without even attempting to open more registers.
Great store but lack of the company providing customer service is bad. You can't even find an associate on the floor. You never know how much something is in those baskets it's never/rarely priced. The shuttle services to and from the metro stations (borough hall) today the drivers were rude and on the cell phones not paying attention to people boarding the shuttle bus and yelling at passengers for dropping a piece of paper. Went into the men's restroom to find profanity in the stalls along with a swastika. The water in the ... read more
This was the absolute worst location I ever been too!!!! I would never recommend this location to ANYONE! The workers are terrible and the "security supervisor" likes to Harass people, I plan to make a complaint to corporate!!!!
