My sister in law went to get her taxes figured out and Arnett Brown was sitting in his office watching porn very loudly on his phone and making direct eye contact with her (she’s 19 years old). She could see and hear him rubbing himself under the desk. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.

My stimulus payment was already deposited into an H&R block account. Instead of depositing it into my account they are going to send it back to the IRS. I am going to do everything in my power to make sure how everyone knows how non helpful they are being through all of this. SHAME ON YOU H&R BLOCK!!

The only reason I gave them 1 star was because I couldn’t give them 0 and be able to file a complaint. I feel that as a business you are obligated to keep your customers in the know about what you know and What we can do regarding the stimulus payment. We are in a state of emergency and most all of us need those payments. To tell customers who are seeking answers “well the stimulus is just a bonus for me so I don’t need to check the irs website” is not ok. I had to drop off my tax papers and go sign due to the coronavirus. The man that did my taxes put the wrong routing number for my credit union so my refund money and my stimulus money were sent back and then they had to send me checks. I was told that he couldn't fix it. I was told to go to the IRS web and fill out the non file and out in my correct number. Predatory, incompetent, and criminal institution. I've heard enough horror stories of their tactics. The tax preparer I worked with strongly advised I use a different routing number and as a result has ruined all my refunds and stimulus check. We should all be compensated directly from them.

to make everything short and sweet forget this place exists and soon it wont. this place is horrible every single year. and honestly they are not needed at all. they rob you while acting like they are doing you a favor. be smarter people. you dont need them, they have no info on important matters, usually any given h&r block has a staff of 60yr plus people who are not up to date on anything despite their so called training classes. what a joke. i spent a year going around to different locations and speaking with friends who ... read more

After H&R Block’s tax specialists messed up my taxes by saying I was paid by my employer because “they should be paying me hourly” even though I specifically told her I only worked for tips... my taxes were audited and Even though I was a loyal customer for years who always paid for peace of mind they were absolutely no help!
