Horrible, I don't understand how they have good reviews on their page . I filed my taxes at the office located in ***** ***** ******* **, last year and the tax preparer having all my paper work. I don't know what she did with the healthcare marketplace amounts and I ended up getting my return on may. My bf told me to give it another shot and I filed with them again this year. Never will I obtain an H And R block debit card..my money is held up and H and R block gets a fee if you use their Debit card..they are the middle man,also costumer service is very poor.My last year of giving them business to complete my income tax,im very disappointed

For the second year in a row H&R Block has made errors on my return. In the 2018 return the preparer underreported our income by missing a W2 which resulted in a letter from the IRS stating we owed over $2,000. Luckily I purchased the Peace of Mind protection. We are currently in the appeal process with the IRS. This year, I picked up the prepared return to find we owed substantially more than the previous year. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. Today, I personally went to the *** ***** ** ***** **** ***** ******* ******** **. My tax preparer, Cynthia Z*******, met me at the door. I requested she return my tax documents to me. She refused, citing the MI governor's pandemic quarantine order. Can H&R Block hold my documents hostage? I did my taxes last year with H&R Block in Bowling Green Missouri and it was not done properly as one of the boxes wasn't checked off as a result of this mistake I lost money I paid quite a bit of money to get my taxes done which it only took the lady about 45 minutes several phone calls later after she just kept saying everything was all right she finally realized that it wasn't right which I could have had her do an amendment but after a couple of months I just didn't want to deal with it anymore I took the loss that was 2... read more

The office, in Cathedral City, CA, i dropped my late wife's and my taxes off to was broken into within a few days after. I was not informed. It wasn't until three messages were left by me that my preparer returned my call. This was when I was told off the break in. I finally referred to the district manager who never answered my questions as to when would someone contact me about my tax paperwork or why was it taking so long to investigate what was missing, etc. Instead she kept repeating somethong like H&R Block stands by t... read more

After reading all the reviews about not receiving the stimulus checks I am in the same situation. I have called the location where I had my taxes done because I own a business, they can’t a Precise answer about when should receive the check, I called and check the Emerald Card recording keep saying the IRS is still process. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The H& R block in Wayne New Jersey spelled my name incorrect 3 times on my tax returns. Now it is so messed up in the system I have not receive my taxes or stimulus. I can’t get anyone to assist me, no one cares, no empathy. I’m out of the hospital and can’t walk or drive, I haven’t been paid in 12 weeks through the state and no one cares. Will anyone help me. I created a case and still no one is helping me.
