Do not use this service. H&R Block has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I chose to use their online services to file my taxes. Paid for the online assistance package. When I arrived at a problem at the review, the online assistant did not work. On my first attempt I was disconnected before my issue was addressed. On my second attempt I was actually connected with Sherri A and was disconnected as soon as the discussion began. Poor customer service! We arrive for appointment which was set up earlier in the day only to find out that it was double-booked. So we so we waited for 30 minutes and someone walks in as a walk-in not an appointment so instead of taking us as the next customer after 30 minutes of waiting she decides to do the walk in and the reasoning was because it would only take them a few minutes get it took them 20 minutes for them to get completed and still we sit in the lobby. The lady Leslie was really rude when confronted

Sooo... I used the online filing method where you are matched with a tax pro. I chose to use this platform this year because our CPA that we used for years previously has retired , and while he did turn a lot of his services over to another local CPA, I thought the convenience of uploading everything online was appealing. Our tax person was a very nice lady. But, when we received our returns back, she calculated us owing about $7000. I have never owed taxes in my life, and I knew something was wrong. Hello. I am very disappointed with H&R Block software. In April2019, I was buying the software and the sells representative of H&R Block had me change my mind from purchasing a program that retailed for $54.95 to an UPGRADE that would allow me to file my taxes 5 times!!! I explained what I needed and he implied that with his suggestions I could use the software up to five times, and all I needed to do was download the newest version next year. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I didn't even have a chance to speak to someone...I was on hold for over 2 hours...then got disconnected. Waited in the online queue of 20 people...disconnected when I was 3rd in line...that happened 3 times. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE...forcing customers to wait for hours to change products when it should be easily down online.

I wish I had read the reviews more thoroughly. This place is a hard avoid. The first time I went they were closed during business hours. The second time I was able to get in I dropped my paperwork off on a Saturday and was told my taxes should be done by Sunday. After not hearing any follow up I called Wednesday. Whoever was on the phone said he had no record of me or my taxes and couldn't provide an ETA and hung up on me. H&R Block Customer Service is arrogant, disrespectful and incompetent: I tried to access my H&R Block tax return account I had used for 2018 return. It kept not recognizing my Username and Password no matter what I tried. H&R Customer Service was no help. It took over 50 minutes of being on hold to get representative and the consultant could not solve the problem even after an hour of trying. Worst company ever!! NEVER FILE YOUR TAXES WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!! Its nearly impossible to talk to a human. I was on hold for hours and no one responded. Online chat is a run around and waste of time. Their hold music is terrible, they call themselves charming????? I paid my taxes, they said wait 5-7days for payment to be posted, two weeks later and nothing.
