We had a horrible experience with H&R Block's online tax service. We caught multiple mistakes made by the "tax pro" and it took days of talking in circles to get the issues resolved. Further, we encountered issues with the website when trying to finally sign our return. We will never use H&R Block again and wouldn't recommend anyone else do so.

I filed my 2019 federal tax with HandR Block via block adviser Candice H******, I have been waiting for 7 weeks to receive a refund. I have called HandRblock and was told there is no record on file, even though I have all the tax information electronically showing filed and complete. I also went to the IRS website "Where's my Refund?" The IRS has no record of my tax return. I have called the office of Candice H****** and left a voice message to be contacted so I can resolve this issue, no response! Further action required...

Last year we got our taxes done by someone named Wendy. She was absolutely horrible, lazy and ended up costing us $1000.00 to the IRS. She wouldn't take my expenses into account and falsely stated that the income on my 1099 was a "hobby". She was giggling and gloating at all the amount of forms we had to file as she was adding them all up to the charges to HR Block in being $350.00 I will never go to HR Block ever again and will continue to spread word of mouth about them to all my friends and family to make certain that the... read more

Rude put me on hold for over 20 minutes wanted me to sign the documents before they were completed made an appointment for me without clarification from me I still haven't spoke with corena that's preparing my taxes very unprofessional

First after telling me it was only gonna be about 60 bucks they charged me 250 then missed out on about five dollars in deductions that I should’ve got. Messed up on my emerald card then recently promised that today I would get the stimulus check deposited on my Emerald card four different H&R block people promised me it would be it wasn’t. I have been going to H&R for almost 20 years but this was the last time! Without going in to specific details about the encounter of poor customer service I received from the agent and the receptionist, I can only say that they forgot to submit my filing for four weeks after my appointment and when we called to ask them about it, we were told "it got stuck in their system". This year has been the most frustrating year using your website! I tried logging into last years return and could not log in. I had to start from scratch. Therefore, I did not have my AGI from last year, nor pin # and had to mail my return. Your virtual assistant was, to say the least, USELESS. Next year I will use another website to file taxes!
