You are cheats and scoundrels. Your local office here in La Junta Colorado committed fraud and extortion, when I went to them and attempted to file a tax return. Your representative told me because I had received a 1099 I was obligated by law to file a tax return. The 1099 was for the amount of $2500. I had also submitted less than one dozen hand written receipts. Total adjusted income $4200. Terrible, terrible, terrible, impossible customer service. The online chat isn't so much a chat as it is a directory. After the Covid-19 pandemic extended filing time for taxes, I wanted to defer my scheduled payment until the summer. Couldn't do that online. I tried to call and was redirected and redirected and hung up on and redirected into a loop of automated nonsense and wait times in excess of one hour. Awful! Paid $300 plus dollars for taxes now delay in stimulus check because of the emerald card. I have been a loyal customer for 15 plus years NEVER AGAIN!!! no answers horrible customer service and they should be ashamed of themselves!

This year I had asked my mother to go to my accountant to get her taxes one because it doesn't seem like her taxes were done properly by H&R block. Well my accountant had asked my mom to to H&R block to ask for the depreciation schedule because it wasn't woth the printed tax form from last year. Also, to asked them further information on the tax form they have filed because it doesn't explain what it was. WAY Over priced.. and I have had a few that are darn right mean, one lost all my documents that included financials. I went in this year 2020 for the 2019 taxes and only until they were finished did they inform me that there was a recent price increase. So I will be paying $730 (a few hundred) more than last year! They are taking "advantage" with the recent dip in the market with this carona virus scare.

h&r block is a horrible company to do business with, i had my taxes filed thru them i got and emerald advance and was asked if I wanted my line of credit to continue throughout the year which agreed. Little did I know the company that they use is a fraud the $500 that I asked to be put toward my line of credit still is not on my account till this day. Now, to remind you that the 500.00 is my money ,I've been calling them since Feb 2020, and have gotten nothing but the run around and lies. The reps form H&R block have no idea... read more
