This company is very abusive. If they had a physical form it would be the corona virus. They have been abusing my credit and debit card for months. I am switching back to ********i've cried many times from frustration. Im done.
They auto renewed an account. In September 2019 I requested the refund from the auto renew they did in the end of August because I wanted to close the account. They closed the account but wouldn't refund. Would not let me back into the account to clear the auto renew nor did they provide a refund. I had to pay an additional fee to access the account supposedly to remove the auto renew and I could not. There is no way to remove auto renew. That was back in December 2019. The hosting company was fine for the first 3 years of our contract, however they have made it impossible to cancel the contract. I have had to contact the company several times to try and resolve the issue. The customer service rep gets authorization from a supervisor to fix the billing issue, however two months later the issue is not resolved. I would avoid this company for hosting your webpage.
I've been trying to get a refund from Bluehost for services that I did not use. Bluehost has agreed to refund, but as the account I used to originally pay for the service is no longer in use, they are requesting an insane amount of documentation from my former financial institution to complete the refund. Keep renewing and refused to refund Renew date was April and charged me in March. As I am telling them to cancel more charges pop up. Would not cancel!!! Horrible
When you purchase a SiteLock with SSL they don't tell you that you need to buy an additional SSL for SiteLock. If already given SSL does not comply with your 3rd party SiteLock service why do you sell it without informing the customer and create another expense? We want this issue to be fixed and SiteLock to comply with already given SSL.
Cost me thousands of dollars when the server providing our email service started having technical issues. I would love to be able to explain what happened, but neither I nor EIG has any explanation. After a week of trying to solve the issue, I ended up having to enlist another company to provide the service I had paid EIG for. Still haven't heard back from them - total fail. This is the 2nd instance their services have cost me thousands and they show no concern at all.
Bluehost is committing fraud by placing an auto-renew on it's services and then not allowing customers to cancel services. I have searched everywhere on their site to deselect the auto-renew function (which was auto-placed on my account by the way). Even when I reached a customer service rep via their "chat" function, it took 10 minutes to explain the issue and when they said it was going to take a minute to resolve, they mysteriously disconnected me. Bluehost has made multiple attempts to bill my account after multiple requests for them to stop. Charges coming out of the wrong account days after the issue was first cleared up. I had multiple phone calls with them and notes left on my account for this issue to not happen. I asked them clearly during more than one phone call to make sure I would not be charged again and they continued to try to charge me multiple times after these conversations.
