I purchased a central air conditioning system with Hollbrook via **** *****. I would never spend another dime with this company. Constantly long hold time on the phone. If you live in the Albany area you are routed to the local office after explaining your request. When installing the unit they did not adequately soldier the pipe fittings resulting in a look in my basement. They did not adequately sweat/braise the pipe fitting on the outdoor condenser, resulting in Freon leaking and shutting down the unit. My home was at 110... read more

Holbrook heating installed a ********** split fin AC/heating unit at our 100 year old camp. We have had excellent communication and coordination with the staff at Holbrook. Beginning with our Salesman Jeff M to find the perfect solution that accommodates our site conditions. Once again my ****** furnace dies less than a month after a service call, new pressure switch was installed. This junk ****** furnace cost me several thousand bucks and I have had nothing but issues with it from day 1. At first I kept getting told that it was the gas regulators on the propane tank so I had them replaced a couple of times. the furnace in just a couple years have needed a control board which left me without heat last winter for a week, and too many times to count I have had to turn the power off and on to get ... read more

Unfortunately, I've spoken to Stacy now several times. We had four technicians out and four diagnoses of our system. We eventually had a new one installed. Guess what? It didn't work. We had a technician come out and apologize that it was not the furnace but rather ice blocking the intake. $6800 we have a new furnace, but did we need one? We also paid for the original service call where they just rebooted the old furnace, something I already did. I write this as former, HVAC contractor, registered with the City of Ithaca NY Living in Ithaca NY, with my wife living in Syracuse NY This review if about Holbrok serving a one way steam boiler, at *** *****Ave, Syracuse NY On Wednesday January 18 my wife called me, informing me that the show glass showing the water level in the boiler was low I told her, that the most likely cause was that the float chamber of the LWC (low water cut of) was muddy. Once is a mistake, twice is a pattern. Bait and Switch is built into Holbrook’s system. A former tenant of mine called me for a recommendation on an HVAC company to replace his gas furnace. I recommended he use Holbrook Heating Inc.,, Holbrook Heating and Air Conditioning, a **** *****Authorized contractor to install a unit he purchased directly from ********He called them and they quoted him about $1000.00, but no more than $1200.00. Furnace wasn’t firing, house was cold… Barney fixed it in 30 minutes and we were good to go. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

I was very pleased with the service person but I’m very disappointed in Holbrook Heating. I’ve been doing business with them since the mid 1990’s. Around 2012 I purchased a ******* Boiler. I’ve had nothing but trouble and repair bills. Their prices are outrageous. Yesterday’s bill was estimated at $890.00!! It’s always a different part plus it’s going down to the 40’s the next couple nights and they don’t know when the part will be in. The woman at Holbrook told me to buy some spaces heaters!!!!!
