BEWARE: This is what I received in Albany NY for $345.00. Holbrook sent a repairman (kid) to fix our broken boiler. Incidentally Holbrook had installed the boiler 3 years earlier. The man (kid) didn’t know how it operated nor how to fix it but he did spend a half hour, on my dime, trying to learn about the machine. He asked to borrow a bucket so he could drain a little water from the system. He asked *me* refill the system after his draining. It was 3:45 on Friday. I discovered a water leak from my furnace. With the temp expected to drop to low 30’s on the weekend, I called the Holbrook office, which was very friendly and helpful. At 5:15 Barney M called to say he would arrive in 20 minutes. He arrived right on time and was professional and courteous throughout the slightly less than an hour he was here. He replaced a condenser unit and replaced a piece of PCV exhaust pipe extending from my water heater that he had noticed had a crack in it while trouble shooting... read more

Tech was courteous, pleasant and masked. Basic oil furnace cleaning, office personnel said job would take approx 1 1/2 hours to perform, job took 30 minutes. Tech didn’t have oil filter on truck, so never installed, will have to install myself as I don’t want to take more time off of work. Also, late for appointment with no notification

Technician was knowledgeable and diligent with the furnace cleaning, but he removed his mask while cleaning the furnace. Fortunately, when we asked that he re-mask, he did so immediately.

Barney called ahead then arrived on time as scheduled. He quickly found the problem with the heater then replaced the part with one he had on hand in the truck. He was pleasant and informative, wore a mask the whole time and also gave me some recommendations to the questions I had regarding when a furnace is usually replaced. I have called Holbrook Heating for repairs several times over the last few years. Every call brought knowledgeable, friendly and efficient personnel. Barney was no exception!
