Myself and many family members stayed at a Doubletree in Worthington, OH for my reception. My parents room was robbed during a brief period of time that my family met in the lobby for dinner. The staff were fully aware that we were all out of our rooms and down there. When I approached the manager, Manny, he instantly became argumentative and defensive. We stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Independence OH the weekend of July 4th. We had issues from the minute we arrived until check out. I've called and attempted to speak to the manager at least 4 times with no return call. We are Hilton vacation owners and at least were credited our points back. To date, I have not had a response. I’m am sending this correspondence to express my utter and unbelievable disappointment and disgust in your staff and the Embassy Suite Hotel in Troy, Michigan. To begin, my husband and I have lodged at other Hilton locations and this particular one, 2 other times in July 2021 for 3 nights each visit with no issues. Upon check in on 8/11/21 for an extended stay of 30 days at $200 plus tax per night, it has been a complete nightmare. THEY ARE BY FAR THE WORSE HOTEL WITH BUGS IN THE ROOM , RUNDOWN PLACE , ANTI SOCIAL , ANTI BLM AND ANTI EVERYONE N!!! NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY !!! Through a different company, I was transferred and I spoke with a rep from Hilton Grand Vacations on Oct 8, 2020. Rep informed me I could buy a discounted package (70% off) for 4 days and 3 nights stay at a Hilton in Orlando or Vegas. (No black out dates, etc.) for $249 + a credit for aforementioned company. I had a year to use it by Nov 2021 and I had to attend a presentation about Hilton. (That's fine, as long as it's not a time share in my mind.) There Hilton Honors website needs serious enhancements. I booked a reservation last night for what I thought was for tonight 08.07.221-08.08.2021 as an advance purchase without cancellation option since it was reserved within a 24 hour period there would not have been a reason for me to cancel, anyway. We recently made reservations to stay at the Hampton Inn in Phenix City, Al. Upon arrival we were unaware that the hotel was under renovations, but decided to go ahead and check in anyway. Once we entered the lobby and checked in, it was okay. However, from the time we got on the elevator to the room it was awful! The room my family and I was given was unsatisfactory, based initially on location (abutting the ice machine, when I have documentation in my profile to avoid those rooms due to being a very light sleeper). When I asked to change the front desk attendant was finding another suitable room to transfer me, stating he could transfer me but not to anything mobility accessible.
