Verified Renter Barton Creek is located in a beautiful neighborhood but due to lack of funds by the ownership it lack a lot of promised amenities and upgrades that other communities in the area offers. Renewal are reasonable and have allowed me to overlook a lot because I haven’t want to high cost of moving.
Verified Renter The Villas' staff is considerate and responsive. And with a garage for each apartment unit, surely this is the safest apartment-home complex in Austin. I have felt secure here for over a decade and don't want to live anywhere else.
Verified Renter UNLESS there is a drastic change to the property within the time of your search at this property like properly operating amenties, a new and REPLACED gate that isn't just repaired, and fully 2023 updated unit... then I highly do not recommend this property. Wait for it to be updated(years from now), then proceed with caution. The only positive about this property is the current maintanence team. They are professional, quick and provide great work.
Love my apartment! I can’t say enough positive things about my experience so far! The office staff is amazingly attentive and caring, the maintenance team never disappoints… I know how hard they work to keep the community running and I cannot thank them enough! My apartment is PERFECT! I would HIGHLY recommend this complex.
Don’t Move Here! If you want trash around your patio or your car broken into or a dirty gym and pool, this is your place!!!!!!! Ever since Conner took over it’s been a nightmare! No kidding!
Do not move here -- it was the worst apartment we've ever lived in Would give 0 stars if I could. Issues with The Drexel: 1) you will be nickel'd and dime'd to death. The force you to pay for cable, for trash pickup outside your apartment (only 1 bag/pickup, so families of 2+, good luck!), and you also pay outrageous prices for trash/recycling. We've moved to a house that is quite larger than our apartment, and we pay less on all of our utilities in our *house* than we did at the Drexel. 2) the facilities are disgusting. Sur... read more
I’m moving out! Yay! some residents at The District have had their cars broken into recently. I just found someone’s wallet strewn all over my backyard and he said his car had been broken into. A year ago, my car was rifled through, but nothing taken. There are also posts on a FB resident site where residents are posting about their cars getting broken into recently. DO NOT LIVE HERE This place is terrible. From mice, to theft, to homeless people roaming around the halls, to trash smells being present throughout the building because the trash room is attached to the building and it’s not well cared for. They try to sell you that it’s a secure building. It’s not. During office hours the front door is open. And the trash room garage is left open often due to the bad smell (they try to air it out). Not a gated community The Drexel at Oakley is advertised as a safe, gated community. However, the doors and gates are broken and do not work. The staff is aware and is not willing to fix the issue.
