Verified Renter Very quiet, great location. No gym, no pool, no date for resumption of amenities.
Do Not Rent Here When I moved in, I saw the reviews as warnings but just kind of ignored them. After moving in, I truly think this is the worst place that I've ever lived in terms of the interactions with management. They will tell you what you want to hear in person but then completely change their tone after the lease. make sure that you get everything in writing or record the meetings. Amber in maintenance is truly phenomenal though.
Verified Renter Barton Creek Villas is a great place to live! Mary Anne in the office is fantastic -- always helpful, courteous, polite, and goes the extra mile to help out the residents. Frank in maintenance is also great! He is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and explains what he is doing and why. He follows up on the work he has done to make sure I am satisfied. Profit over people Don’t live here, and don’t ever rent from The Connor Group. Red flag #1: there’s a Facebook group with tenants from all of their properties discussing their problems with this company. Our first (of many) first-hand red flags was when we discovered upon move-in that there were exposed spikes from where the carpet had been lifted by the previous tenant. DONT LIVE HERE Moved out of my apartment at Highland Station back in September. Never received my deposit back figured they were busy due to having yet again another property manager (4th one in the year i lived there). Decided to call today and they said i left my apartment dirty and missing appliances. Long story short I’m getting my deposit back because he said “since you have proof your apartment wasn’t dirty we will issue your deposit back”. Seriously how sketchy can you get. Giving credit where it’s due So to be honest, I’ve been here 5 going on 6 years and plan to do at-least 2 more. In my entire stay I’ve never seen a rat or mouse. I read some of the other reviews and I’m just not seeing it. I’ve probably been here longer than most of them and some of the claims are just far fetched! Do not move here! Do not move here if you ever want to get some sleep. I have complained repeatedly about excessive noise after quiet time. The managers are not only incompetent but have done nothing to remedy the situation. I am still waiting after several months for several things in my apartment to be fixed. For what they charge you would think that the tenants would be more of a priority. Do not waste your time and move here.
Verified Renter My wife and I are very happy with the Graystar management and the investments being made by Goldman Sachs to improve and maintain the property. It appears that the new owners are investing for the long term and not just to flip it for a short term profit.
Be warned! We moved in back in 2021.. we had a certain date we were supposed to move in but upon the move in date the apartment was filthy! Dead bugs on the window seals, dust for days, floors that have been pulled up and broken, a smell that smacked you in the face from previous owners due to dirty carpets, all over all so disgusting. We had to have them come back not once but twice to come and clean- delaying the day we were able to move in.
