Ive got scammed into accepting additional insurance after not requesting it.
I was charged 387 dollar a day when my initial rental location pick up had to be changed due to a flight cancellation. We were taken advantage of with this incredibly high rate because we were put in a position of requiring a rental car change on short notice because of the flight cancellation. Upon checking the website after this quick decision, the rate was 79usd a day! I get quoted for one amount and then they charge me double. If you want to get ripped off and screwed over and talk to outsourced support, this is the car rental company for you!
Absolutely stupid you need a credit card I dont have one dont have a need for one. I wanted to pay in full and got told no.

DO NOT Rent from these people! Their slogan should be Hertz Hurts! I’ve been on the phone with them during my vacation to try to rectify the lemon they rented us. I’ve listened to their on hold music for hours which is Lets go Baby baby and have come up with many slogans. Hertz needs to hire employees at the Buffalo airport. The wait time is extremely long. 2-3 hours to get a rental. Employees are stressed, understaffed but they are trying their best. This is not a way to conduct business.
I would leave zero stars if that were a choice. Horrible experience from Hertz in Savannah, Georgia Airport. Flight was delayed and I and others in my party tried all day between flights to call the counter in Savannah to let them know we would be late. No one answered and could not leave messages. DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ. I tried to return my rental at the Providence airport around 2pm. There was no one in the return lot to assist me. I wanted to swap the charges to a new credit card and get at least an estimated receipt so I headed to the desk. There was one person working and a line for 8 people that didn't move the entire time I waited - about 30 min. At one point, the guy working left for like 10 min.
