I booked a car and was given a time to pick it up. When I arrived I was told the car was not ready and it should be in about 20 minutes. After 1 hour and 45 minutes I was told my car was at another location. I was offered transportation to the other location but I chose to Uber instead. I got my car 2 hours behind schedule and from a completely different location. It was not full of gas when I got it. Upon returning the employee entered my mileage traveled completely wrong. My rental was the nastiest thing I have ever been in. It was disgusting. Stunk like cigarettes so bad I got sick and so did my kid. It was a compact SUV instead of the small SUV I reserved. It had dried ice cream in it. Stale French fries. Gunk in the seatbelts things I had to clean before I could hook up my daughters car seat because it wouldn’t latch. Blood spots on the ceiling. Terrible rental car company. Rented a seven passenger vehicle and when we get to the airport they tell me they dont have a seven passenger car. Then they proceeded to tell me they do have one but its an upgrade to a suburban and will cost me $300 extra. @Hertz @DollarCars

Very poor service at MCO Orlando Airport HERTZ counter. Person was very rude and forced to take liability insurance even my insurance cover the rental car . Booking was done for mid size car but he was giving me compact car and forcing me to upgrade car to full size with $15 per day extra. I booked from Priceline for 3 days. After booking I realized that it was non-refundable. It was non refundable booking and it was 10:30 pm at airport with family of 4. So I was bound to take whatever he was selling. Lesson learned. What a dishonest company!!! DON"T USE HERTZ. **************** can't help with anything!! I reserved a car total confirmation was $397.02 they added all kinds of charges totaling $1,104.00 for ONE week. Local offices will not answer phones. I WAS NOT Given a contract, he said just sign the key pad, handed the key and that was is. Made me cry when I saw the charge on my credit card.

NEVER AGAIN TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE…!!!!. My 1st time renting from Hertz. Same day First car they try to give me smelled like B.O. 2nd car was partially charged this is at Wpb rental Im going to Orlando 21/2 hours away. Third car seatbelt jammed needed the mechanic to fix it. I get on the highway 2022 Honda Accord breaks down 13 miles down the road. I pull off hwy call rental office NO answer. Worst customer service. My flight was canceled less than 24 hours prior to take off, then rebooked to arrive 3 hours later than scheduled. I called the customer service number to modify the time for pick up and change the flight number (all calls are outsourced to a foreign country) and the representative CANCELED MY ENTIRE RESERVATION. I was told I'd receive an email confirmation about the changes. A half an hour later with no communication, I check the reservation which states it was canceled. Rented a vehicle at Hertz from the Sacramento International airport. I was mistakenly charged a $200 fee for an Interior clean. The car was dropped off clean and I have rented cars in the past from this location without an issue. Although, this time I was charged a $200 fee with will not be refunded. I can say that from now on they have lost my business and I will be choosing another company for my rental car needs. I wouldn't recommended anyone using Hertz as they have terrible customer service.

Worst customer service they dont even try to help. I got to the location the day to pick up the car I rented supposedly online when I got there they told me that the car was already rented to someone else. The worst experience with this rental company.
