Yikes! I don't recommend this location. There is a very pretty girl with long braided hair that has very poor customer service. She was very rude to my mom who is in her 60s. They were having an argument. I approached and told them both to just stop taking to each other. My daughter's corporation uses this company for rentals when she travels. She has been left stranded overnight with a car that has a defective tire. She had a 2 hour drive to her destination with this tire that started losing pressure and air. She called and stayed on hold for 2 hours before being told that someone would come and rectify the problem...they never did. She waited 6 hours for help that never came. She called back and was told she either had to wait hours on hold to speak to roadside assistance or not be helped ... read more
I arrived at the airport with a confirmed reservation to rent a car with two car seats. The hertz employee said he didn't have my vehicle or any vehicle for me. My family was stranded 3 hours from our home and had to rent a limo to get home. The agents said we have a glitch in our system and it will probably happen to more people tonight. Please get out of line sir. No apology and not a care. Truly the worst customer service experience I have had with any company of any kind.
So we rented a van from Dollar/Hertz/Thrifty car rental. We blew a tire near Kearny, AZ. Lucky we were near a NAPA tire company. They help us put on the donut and inspected our other tires which they feared were old and one had wire showing and they were afraid that it would blow out on us. They told us we were getting upgraded but did not tell me it was going to cost $490 extra. I tried to get my money back but customer service wouldn't budge. Then after I paid them over $800 (all charged to my credit card), they have been sending letters saying I still owe them money. Worst car rental experience ever.
Hertz is the worst. Never ever rent a car from them. I repeat do not rent a car from them. I made a reservation for an economy car for 205.00 and ended up with a bill for 1431.00 because they did not have what I reserved and charged me 400+ daily for a car. The worst customer service. They keep transferring you to different departments you leave a voice-mail to never receive an answer or even a resolution. I am still in disbelief that this company is still in business!! Disguisting
A nightmare from the moment I arrived to counter. Over 50 people on line 2 agents. Finally stepped outside to get car noons was around to answer any questions. I finally found someone who was rude and start mouth. I pulled out of the Fort Lauderdale airport no windshield fluid which is a must in Florida. The key fob battery died within 2 hours I had to go replace it. The car died twice on me. I tried to call their 800 number and was not able to get through to anyone.
