If I could give it a zero I would. The female employees that work at New Orleans Airport Hertz are extremely rude. I went to the Gold member office because I am a Gold member, but they didn't want to help me because I made the reservation thru a third party. They had me wait 2.5 hours for the car eventhough I had a reservation. Did not care I was with my daugther who is handicapped and in a wheelchair. They made me wait outside in the parking lot. Customer Service / Billing Dept horrible horrible experience. I prepaid to rent a vehicle for 9 days and I had a emergency and had to return the vehicle back early. I called the office on 9/21/21 where I initially picked up the rental and explained my situation and they advised me that I can do an early return and there billing department would make all the necessary adjustment for the days that I didn't use the vehicle. Wish I could give a 1/4 star. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Pet hair in rear cargo area. Cup holders filled with dried on caked on residue from spilled drinks. Dried Bug secretions all over front bumper and grill. Car looks like it's been in a sand Storm. Low windshield washer light on as well as Low tire light. Hertz should be ashamed to allow a Vehicle to go out in such deplorable condition. If it were not for my Dealership paying for the Loaner I would NEVER rent a Vehicle from HERTZ. If I could give you zero stars I would. So here goes my little story. -I called HERTZ the day before my pickup to ask if they could pick me (3 miles away) up and they said "no, we don't do that anymore". My wife took half the day off work the next day in order to take me and pick up the car. When I arrived, I was given keys to a very disgusting dirty white car. I would give them absolutely with out a doubt a negative no star review. I prepaid and made a reservation on September 9th for September 21st and got to the lot and no car to be seen and no reasoning behind it. I asked what is the point of a reservation if your not going to hold or reserve the car. My money was taken so I needed the product or vehicle at my expected time. Terrible company and service here in Augusta, GA. We reserved and prepaid for a mid-sized SUV five days in advance. When we arrived at the pickup location we were there for over an hour after being lied to multiple times and having to pay more money to get a vehicle that would accommodate our family. This company needs to train their employees better and also needs to not offer rentals for reservations that they do not have. An EcoSport is not a mid-sized SUV. Liars and thieves. Give the illusion of low rates then make up false charges to increase their bottom line. In our case we rented a car, neither one of us smoke, but our credit card got charged for a smoking fee. Non smokers charged a smoking fee? LIARS AND THIEVES

Hertz customer service doesn't care about their customer's. I've called three times. The first time I called asking about my charges, The customer service agent was very rude. I called for the second time Monday, September 13,2021. I waited to speak to a supervisor for 52 minutes. I was told their were no supervisors available by representative that answered. Terrible experience. We called the number so many times and could not talk to a single representative on the phone. There is no excuse to not have a single person taking customer calls. We finally got someone on the line by dialing the roadside emergency number, but they were of very little help. Lastly, the price you think you're paying when you book is only a fraction of what you will pay with all of the hidden fees, mandatory add ons, and other offerings they try to scam you into.
