I picked up a rental car at RDU and specifically denied all additional rental fees/upchares. When I returned the car and was emailed my bill $113.25 of upcharges was added to my bill. I was asked to sign for the rental and did not now the upcharges had been added. No one at Hertz or Dollar can reverse the charges. I was scammed and taken advantage of. Shame on them for treating a customer like this.

The customer service at Hertz is beyond horrible !!! I had a collision accident yesterday and called to make a reservation to pick up a vehicle today . I was given a reservation for the Agusta , GA location at 3313 Washington Road. I called the location, to be told they don't have any vehicles , and when I asked when will a vehicle be available because I have a reservation she said she "Oh I don't know , call back". What a hoot! How can you take someone's money in full then let them know the day before that they will not have a car at all for you??? I have to wait 10 days for a refund. Then proceed to just hang up in your face and to say that you have to call the 800 number to deal with it. How can this business still go on?? The lady was so rude just telling me they didn't have a car and just shooed me to the other location to tell me it will "only" be an extra $250. Hertz are unreasonable, they took away my points and free days because I didn't want to travel during covid. I reached out multiple times to try to explain my perspective and get my points and free days back, no response. Emerald club is the best, they understand and extended my free days without me even having to ask.

Horrible service. I came in to pick up my rental and they denied my payment after they already took it online. Now I have been waiting almost 30days for my refund!

Picked up our rental and had to drive two hours to a wedding, upon opening the trunk of the rental car there were maggots crawling all over our luggage. There was something spilled in the trunk and where the spare tire was located there were HUNDREDS of maggots all over the place. Never will I EVER use this company again.

We reserved a vehicle a week ago and today, when we arrived, we were told they did not have one for us. We even had a CONFIRMATION email for the vehicle last night. They claimed a car shortage and all vehicles they had on the lot were for certain members and corporate. As I looked upon at least 10-12 vehicles, we were denied OUR vehicle WE paid for. We recently used Hertz rental for 12 days beginning in Denver Colorado ended in Salt Lake City UT. We booked months in advance and paid ahead in full ($1513.29) for the rental. After arriving home and days later I review an additional 3,246.46 dollar charge. Not sure of why the additional charge I contact Hertz to then find out we had accidentally dropped off at the incorrect location. I rented a vehicle today 10/11 as Hertz as I had to dropped off my car at the dealer and I was sent to them for a rental. I was given the charges for $134 + $200 deposit, which I agreed to. 30-minutes later when I look at my bank account I was charged $761. When I go back to the rental place they had no idea on what to do and instead of them trying to reach out to corporately or whoever, they only provided me with a customer service number to find out I was being charge $200 deposit + another $500 for using a debit card.
