Will not be renting a vehicle from Hertz again nor will I reccomend them to anyone I know. Experience poor customer service and was not given the vehicle I requested. I was down graded and was not informed until I got to the garage. Car dirty, no floor mats. Even though there were employees around, drinking coffee and smoking, no one approached me nor did they do a pre inspection with me. I was told "just take pictures". A horrible experience at the Syracuse Airport.
rented a Hertz SUV in DFW for one week, using Expedia first charge was 394.87 as advertised one week later new charge showed up on my credit card 155.41 explained as CONCESSION FEE RECOVERY 34.98 VEHICLE LICENSE FEE 13.58 CUSTOMER FACILITY CHARGE 45.50 TAX 15.00% 61.35 another week later 143.14 showed up on my credit card as TOLL charges can you believe that TOLL charges for one week is that much ? I called and argued but no more explanation will never return to Hertz
Well thanks to the Slidell Louisiana location my vacation may be ruined. 4 hours before my pickup time they call and tell me I won't have a vehicle. I paid in full 5 months ago. This is the second time this company has done this to my family. I will never recommend this company to anyone.
My daughter got married and had rented a 7 passenger SUV. The Manager William at Hertz in Highland Park NJ was great. I asked him few days earlier if there is a nice SUV he could get for us? He got us a very Nice Tahoe! and said to me " I have daughters too so I understand your wish to drive her to the Hall in a nice Truck!" Sure enough he took great care of us! Thanks William for everything! *** ** ********.
To whom it may concern. My husband and I just had a bad experience with a rental while his truck was in the collision shop. His truck was being serviced at Auto Collision and Glass at 2200 Military Road in Niagara Falls, NY where there is also a Hertz location in the same building. They only submitted 3 days coverage to the insurance company which is unrealistic and charged us for the remaining days. Hertz is terrible. They don't answer the phone at any locations. They also don't care about their customers. They leave the airport before customers arrive to pick up their car. Do not use them. I've given them several tries. Terrible company with terrible management.
Hertz is shady AF. I rented a car a month out, I go to the board to find my name. The board is not working, I go to the counter and give the agent my name, she tells me my car isn't ready. I have to wait 30 minutes or I can take a smaller vehicle... 🤔... I rented a larger vehicle because that's what I needed...🤨. I also rented the car for 5:30 am , needing to be in PA by 11:30 am. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE SCAMS COMPANY. Especially 664 Blanding BLVD Jacksonville Fl 32073 I have reserved a car through the Uber program when I have arrived they didn't honor the reservation at the beginning especially Dani who was so rude when he know I came through uber and he confirm there are no cars until Steve the manager came and gave me a car was different then what I rented and has a flat tire the whole time need air and has 1/quarter of gas. 0 Stars! Avoid this company at all cost. They are dishonest, thieves, disorganized, have no respect nor urgency for their customers. I have been waiting 4 days now to get my rental car account closed out. I get no answers to help resolve the issue. I have spoken to 6 different people with this company with no resolution. I am told NO ONE can close the account but those employed at Dollar/Thrifty car rental place at Denver International Airport.
