Asian Fusion – This place is great for parties! It's right next to the Sky Bar, but don't think you can get in just because you ate @ Asia de Cuba. If you want to get into the bar, get a room there for the night. The restaurant has some of the best service and a fabulous lychee martini! The Key Lime martinis are great too! The food comes in family sized portions to be shared so it's definitely great to go with a few friends! The tuna tartare appetizer is good. The steak was great but the butterfish is definitely better! Try ... read more

Yummy Butterfish! – Romantic date spot. Make reservations and ask for table on the patio with a view. You'll be more likely to get a good table if you get there earlier. We ordered: Tuna Tartare (too salty for my taste, wouldn't recommend), Asia de cuba salad (the one with bananas, highly recommended); Butterfish (contrary to the name, no butter added, healthy and YUMMY! GET THIS); lobster mashed potatoes (interesting, yummy, not spectacular, would try once); Dessert: Banana Split (get this too, very yum). Overall, good serv... read more

Great place for a Romantic Dinner...Short Ribs to Die for! – My husband and I celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary here and could not have picked a more romantic place. We were seated as soon as we arrived even though we were running a bit late for an early dinner reservation (called to let them know). The food was delicious and well worth the price $$$$...short ribs were to die for...no bone to deal with, very tender with a combination of cuban/asian spices...yum! Don't pass on the dessert...we shared this wonderful banan... read more

This is Pure LA at its best! – Ok... for those of us who live in LA and go out..well all the time... We found ourselves in this timeless spot where the service and food is consistently fantastic. Ok Part 2. For all of your out of towners. This truly is a LALA Land Experience. Gorgeous, Eclectic Crowd, Home of the 3 inch skirts, and 4 inch heels on most of the model/actress patrons.... their dates in ripped jeans and sports coats.. all very chichi and glam. The waitstaff is perfection, the food is delectable and designed to b... read more

Great view of the city... – I must admit, I was surprised by the fabulous service we received from Asia de Cuba! We were expecting maybe rude or difficult reactions when we asked to be moved from our table near the back to a table open at the front. They were VERY accommodating and the evening only continued to impress. The menu is expensive (with a minimum charge per person) but worth it. You would never imagine right on the other side of the glassed in room resides the hardest bar to get into in Hollywood.

Wonderful City View and tasty, tasty, expensive food. – Our reservations were for 7:30 on a Wednesday night ... I definately recommend the outside patio table - ask for city view - it is beautiful. Even on a smoggy, hot summer night - the patio was very nice and cool. Even though we were 15 minutes late, we were seated after 10 minutes, our waiter was friendly and had great recommendations. The Tuna Tartar was excellent, butterfish was delicious, and order the highly recommended lobster mashed potatoes and the plaintains fri... read more

Terrible attitude and service – I made reservations for a dinner party one month before my birthday. They are so unaccomodating and snobby. Dinner was good, but so not worth it. The staff has a serious attitude problem and very unfriendly. Get over yourselves!!!! There are plenty of restaurants on LA. DO NOT GO HERE. Spend your money on a restauant that will serve you kindly and treat you more graciously.

HORRIBLY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!! – Worse night ever! Had reservations for 8:30PM, got there on time, clueless hostess could not even tell us when we can get seated; finally seated at 9:20PM. Still tried to keep good spirits despite the long wait then dinner came along, our waitress was horrible, only attended to us twice during the night, left us for a long time then when we asked for help, some rude waiter (who was her substitute) attended to us with typical Hollywood attitude. Our side orders came long after we had finished o... read more

Best Vegetarian Dumplings! – The view is magnificent! The dumplings were so delicious...I can taste them now! The fried rice with plantanes and guacamole was really good too. The tofu salad is okay. The desserts are GIGANTIC! You can feed 8 people with those things...beware!
