Still loading things we asked them to move. Can’t believe they offered to charge us more to finish a job for which they charged us double and sent half the trucks. Although the crew was nice, by the end of the day they became more interested in emptying their truck than placing the clearly marked boxes where they belonged. Price was nearly twice than verbally quoted. I told them the size of the house and there was a basement, garage and shed but they only sent one truck (when we called to ask about the items left behind the person acted surprised only one truck was sent). Despite a walk-through pointing out the main things we wanted them to move, we still have most of the garage and basement as well as many things in the house and yard. Very unhappy with the service we received. The movers broke a $1200 headboard and after multiple calls to the office the manager still has yet to return any of them.
RecommendedWe bought a Groupon with this company and would have gladly paid more. The company gave me a reminder call the day before to verify the expected time of arrival. Ronny and Tommy were there on time and had my house packed up and on the truck and delivered to the new house in record time. They were professional, quick and so friendly. I think we’ll request them to come back and unload the POD for us as well.
Bought Groupon for $96 for $200 worth of moving expense. Called mover & told had to charge $10 booking fee to be refunded at end of move. Also said fee would be around $117 & at most $150. At end of move gave me a bill with a balance due of over $200 and was told booking fee non-refundable! That makes the total charges almost $420!!!This was a move from a small ground-floor apartment to a mobile home 0.7 miles away!! While unpacking discovered step-stool was missing.
