Dr Illum tells ne straightforward how my treatment is progressing. He gives me options, and we discuss which avenues to pursue.
Dr. Illum has been my oncologist for 2 1/2 years. I saw him through the rough chemo for six months, and through my maintenance chemo for another two years. At first, he seemed like he might be somewhat stern. As time has passed, I've discovered that he is caring and has a sense of humor which puts me at ease. I feel he has given me the very best care. I highly recommend to all of you who need an expert oncologist.
His knowledge and professional. Was able to communicate with Dr. Illum very well. He understood my questions and concern and answered them clearly.
Dr. Illum does a great job in listening to the patient's needs and questions. He is pragmatic in his approach to every scenario and always provides perspective from all possible scenarios related to cancer and its treatment.

Dr Illum has always taken the time to explain things as they happen in very plain English. I really hate that I am not being able to see him anymore. And have to see a dr. that knows nothing of my history.
