Due to a breast cancer diagnosis three years ago, I researched for an oncologist within the Texas Oncology system. Dr. Illum had a 4.9 rating and was highly praised by many patient reviews. His care, compassion, knowledge, and ability to make one feel at ease are unmatched and the high reveiews are definitely well-deserved. I have a basil cell tumor in my ear, I have been shuffled around to the wrong doctors, dr Illum took charge and set up the correct treatment plan and medication immediately. He takes an absolute interest in making sure you are getting the proper treatment and is genuinely concerned about your health, I’m much happier now, thank you very much.
Dr Illum from my first visit has always been very calm and patient. Explaining my condition and treatment. Always very easy to talk to. I feel blessed to have him as my doctor. He helped make a very scary diagnosis manageable.
