I was transferred to Hillcrest at 36 weeks pregnant with severe preeclampsia. The labor and delivery nurses were SOOOO ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I literally could never ever repay them or say enough good things. After riding in an ambulance over an hour by myself terrified I was immediately met with comfort and warmth that literally carried on from that Friday night to Sunday evening after an extremely long and terrifying induction and 3 days of bed rest due to magnesium. Every single nurse that came in for their shift was just as... read more

I work there in the burn unit. It is wonderful for me to see my patients come back and see the healing process and to know that I had a small part in that healing process! I have wonderful co-workers and it’s a good place for me to be and to share in peoples lives. I lost a brother-in-law in a house fire and it was devastating. The staff on the 6th floor is AMAZING!!! My husband had 2 different brain surgeries between Aug 21st and Sept 18th 2018. We spent quite awhile on the 6th floor on 2 different visits and ALL the nurses and techs went above and beyond with their care, not just for my husband but for myself also. I can't name names because I don't want to forget anyone and I wouldn't want to do that!!! I just wanted to say Thank you to them all and let everyone know how awesome they all are!!!

My wife was flown by life flight here. They went in and put a stent in and in the process nicked the artery. So within a week we were back in doing another heart cath due to the hole in the artery. Her chest pain and leg pain never stopped from day one. So after another week of pain, we went to St. Johns.

My mother recently spent her final days of life here. The staff were so kind and caring and supportive, in addition to doing their jobs well. It was a difficult time, made easier by these people.
