I think I'll buy my own policy next year from a private broker. Hopefully I'll have much better vision coverage. You'll cover a eye exam buy it have to pay out of pocket for materials, really you guys can't cover some materials.
Just signed on with them this year policy started 1-1-16. 1-316 I was coughing and passing out I go to the prompt care walk in at the hospital because all I know is my member number And what hospital I need to go to I called the 800 number and got we are open m-f what good is that no 24 hr help number? Horrible, horrible, horrible! They don't cover doctors in my area that I need to see and they could care less if you have a relationship with a therapist for years, they won't add anyone, they don't care about people. Do not use them! They're awful! Can't wait till the start of 2016 and will be getting new insurance.
WARNING!! If you are on an ACA plan with Health Alliance, they are engaging you in a bait and switch! Please, open the renewal packets they sent you IMMEDIATELY! They are getting rid of my bronze plan and AUTOMATICALLY enrolling me in a Gold plan that is DOUBLE the price. If you have one of their plans, and do nothing, you will be on the hook for whatever they charge you! This is an unconscionable move on their part. This forces me to go back to the ACA to find another plan, but premiums have gone up 25% or more for all plan... read more
They totally suck. Customer service is always bragged on by them, but try to find a real person who can actually answer a question for you. I actual had a representative tell me there was someone over them who could answer my question but they were not allowed to give me that persons contact information!! What!! Premiums rising constantly with no improvements in coverage.
