Day 1 Check in Serious Cold Front hit the City and the room is not ready, so I go out into the cold and await a call, 2 hours later the call comes and they check is into a room in the building where the “HEAT” is BROKEN without mentioning it at all. We are there yesterday January 14, 2017. First time at Harrah's Casino. To able to get free parking, we need to play 30 minutes. Anyway we end up playing 2 hours then we go to buffet paying $35.00 for brunch. The food was awful. The comments back October 2016 about food looks left over and reheated and reheated was correct. Hotel is beautiful and I love the non smoking casino as well. I play blackjack and the high limit blackjack pit is ideal. Harrahs is conveniently located to just about everything and is always a great time. I’ve been there 3 times in the past 4 months and can’t wait to go back!
Free “upgrade” to a suite. Dirty Dirty Dirty..... windows and doors so dirty you could write your name on them. Bed had all kinds of black specks all in it. Bathroom floor had at least a dozen hairs on it with naked foot impressions. Pillows had “stains”. Carpet and floor was not cleaned in months. Managers reply to me is sir your room was comped. What a joke of a hotel and manager. Left at 2am to get another room at another hotel.
Hand down the rudest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered(front desk/Conceriege) does not matter if you’re a seven star player staying on the top floor. After several negative encounters, beginning with the extremely rude check in yesterday, I needed help finding my lost purse. The female at the front desk, named Donna looked at me as if I were crazy when I told her I had lost my purse and asked what the next step is or where I could locate the lost and found or security office. I have no problem losing money. If you can’t afford to gamble, then don’t do it. However, I do have a problem with my money being stolen. I had a bet in on black. Black 6 hit. I kept waiting to be paid, and had struck up a conversation with a gentleman beside me. I look up and my bet has been removed from the table. I asked the dealer what was going on, and she says that my bet was for the spin before, and that I lost because it landed red.. I asked for it to be checked.
