STILL waiting on Body by Cochran. Its been 5 months and even picking up my car has been as issue. Waited 4 months for the wrong part, refused to fix things that could be done without that part. Finally get it in and its been over a week when it was supposedly ready to be picked up 2 days ago Im still getting excuses.

Selling EASY CARE along with broken cars and scamming clients. Your Equinox had the rear main seal blow out. My technician found the oil leak coming from between the transmission and engine. #1 Cochran has already decided to goodwill the repairs on the customers vehicle, as discussed with ********************* on 1-3-23 and the campus service director. The customer is aware of the goodwill gesture and has agreed to it. Parts have been ordered and the repairs will be performed on her vehicle as agreed upon.

Before visiting the dealership, I went to the Cochran web site and got a KBB online appraisal for my wife's vehicle. According to their web site, as long as the condition is accurate, they'll pay the higher of the online or in-person appraisal. The gentleman I spoke with refused to honor that guarantee. He said they've decided internally to drop it. What's funny is that this same guarantee was present in the dealership's printed brochures in their sales offices. Vehicle the customer was interested in was sold prior to them coming in and was disappointing to them. The evaluation of their vehicle was less due to scratches and a dent that caused the appraised value to be less based on the condition of their vehicle. We were not able to accept a check from a 3rd party person who's name was not going to be on the title which was also a concern to customer. Beyond price gouging and awful service. They will try to con their way out of warranty. Awful service

Would appreciate more clarity on the consumer information regarding the situation vaguely described above. Many factors contribute to what can and cannot be covered under warranty.

I was there for 6 1/2 hours after driving 1 1/2 to get there. The next day I noticed the bottom panel looked like it was coming off and I did not notice it when I test drove. I asked that they do something about it because I would have never made the purchase if I would have seen this, considering it is a 2022 and paid a nice amount. I had to reach out multiple times before I got a no! And when I asked to return the vehicle he said I only had 7 days and it was day 8. The scrapes are on the lower edge of the door panel down by the rocker panel. The scrapes are fresh and were not there when we delivered the vehicle. It appears that the vehicle was scraped by a pole or something else, but again, we would not deliver a vehicle with the scrapes from the pictures that were provided.

We bought out a lease my daughter drives. We asked that the brakes be replaced under warranty. Several months later my daughter said the brakes were grinding. We took the car to our mechanic who looked at the brakes and said they were original to the car and had not been changed. This is a dishonest dealership and I would not give them my business again.

Under that name - show a 2020 ****** Rogue and a 2019 Crosstrek. I do see an issue with brakes on the **** Crosstrek at almost ****** miles which would not be covered under warranty at that point and very few vehicles have brakes covered by waranty unless their is a defect in the brakes as these are considered a wear item. If customer can provide more detail - happy to look into - but again - brakes are not a covered warranty item for wear/tear only if there is a defect in the product.

I really did not want to post a review for the world to see about number one Cochran Hyundai of South hills, but I feel like if I can warn some people than this review will be worth it. I went in on a Friday to purchase a certified used vehicle. The sales person that helped me knew that I needed the vehicle ASAP and told me I could not receive it that day. Customer submitted a lead through out internet site on the vehicle. We explained to the customer the vehicle was not fully completed having a detail service performed and dings removed, but they could come and see the vehicle. They saw the vehicle and asked to take it home that night and we again stated we wanted to get it detailed and dings removed, but allowed them to take the vehicle and return to have the detail and dings removed. My wife and I bought a 2018 jeep Cherokee in December 2021, now its June it started out as the radio not turning right away then service shifter. Now Friday 6-10-22 it said service air bag, shifter, and 4wd. The jeep would not let me drive it, had it towed to the #1 Cochran jeep they said it has water damage and they said we left the sunroof open now I'm stuck trading it in because i cant afford for them to fix everything. it got shorted out, 5 months of owning this car and they only want to give us half of the loan now I do... read more
