About this business
Hammett House started operations in 1969 after almost 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Mrs. LaNelle Hammett. Now, after another 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Linda and Bill Biard we bring a remodeled, yet similar, Hammett House. Our goals are simple. We want to provide our guests with fine food, expertly served in a restful atmosphere, with plenty of "Southwestern Style" hospitality. Our menu is neither extensive nor expensive, but everything we do...we try to do extremely well!

Great food excellent steaks, overall staff is frendly
We traveled there on a day trip from Muskogee yesterday. Our first time. Wonderful food! Our server (Cindy) was so friendly. Broccoli cheese soup was delicious. We will definitely make this a place we stop every time we are in town!
Coffee, they have an a making new espresso maker. Best thing I ever drank! Great night cap and absolutely perfect with Pie!
The street tacos were delicious but the item that impressed me the most was the avocado hummus tostada! Excellent flavor and very light! I hope Bill will put this special on the menu!

LOVE the home cooked meals. The smell of the grease & spices was a touch of home ! Seasoned really well - had Country Fried Steak- not needing anything but my teeth in it ;) Bill came over to ask us how we liked our meals & introduced himself.Being a Cajun boy I told him it's really hard to impress me with food here in OK,but I'M HOOKED on their food now. All my back home guests will be eating here. And the Blooming Onion? That Aussie restaurant needs to pack it in baby !!!!!

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary and everything was perfect! She had the prime rib, I had the chicken fried chicken then we took chocolate pie and pumpkin spice carrot cake home and enjoyed every single bite!! Thanks so much!
