About this business
Hammett House started operations in 1969 after almost 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Mrs. LaNelle Hammett. Now, after another 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Linda and Bill Biard we bring a remodeled, yet similar, Hammett House. Our goals are simple. We want to provide our guests with fine food, expertly served in a restful atmosphere, with plenty of "Southwestern Style" hospitality. Our menu is neither extensive nor expensive, but everything we do...we try to do extremely well!

Always enjoy our visits here. The pies never dissapoint

The food was outstanding and the service was Great! The sour cream raisin pie was absolutely the best pie I have ever eaten. We will definitely make the trip back to Claremore just to eat there again.

Service has been slow every time I've gone in. The prices are high for what you get and the food is just average. Yes, it's been in Claremore forever, but that doesn't make it worth the price or make the food any better.
Love this restaurant. Great food and service. The pies are fantastic!!
Being a gluten free diner, I can't rave enough about the menu. It's so rare I get to eat a hamburger with a bun! Delicious.
