About this business
Hammett House started operations in 1969 after almost 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Mrs. LaNelle Hammett. Now, after another 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Linda and Bill Biard we bring a remodeled, yet similar, Hammett House. Our goals are simple. We want to provide our guests with fine food, expertly served in a restful atmosphere, with plenty of "Southwestern Style" hospitality. Our menu is neither extensive nor expensive, but everything we do...we try to do extremely well!

We took my mother to Hammett House for her birthday. The food was tasty and the service was great. My son always orders the alligator bites and he thinks they're amazing!
Awesome food and awesome service!!
party of 4 had excellent service and food was good. Chicken Fry was good, a bit too much breading for the amount of meat inside but had good taste and a flat iron steak that was very tender but had a too much pepper on it from the kitchen. Pie was excellent as always. I usually have the hot hamburger which is off the hook, will have that again soon.
It lives up to the reputation it has developed over the years.
