Hammett House started operations in 1969 after almost 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Mrs. LaNelle Hammett. Now, after another 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Linda and Bill Biard we bring a remodeled, yet similar, Hammett House. Our goals are simple. We want to provide our guests with fine food, expertly served in a restful atmosphere, with plenty of "Southwestern Style" hospitality. Our menu is neither extensive nor expensive, but everything we do...we try to do extremely well!

Great service and great food. Even the owner Bill took time out to stop & chat with my family & myself. That right there means the most to me. Will be back. Don't forget to try one their pies. It was amazing!!!!! Drove all the way from Vinita to try it out. 😁😀
Rude Owner with subpar food and overpriced pie. Don't bother.
Salad dressings here are ridiculously good! Food, and desserts are out of this world!

Food is good, service is usually friendly and speedy (we had one lack luster server just on our most recent trip). Their pies and other desserts are the best, sometimes we stop just for a treat.
