About this business
Hammett House started operations in 1969 after almost 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Mrs. LaNelle Hammett. Now, after another 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Linda and Bill Biard we bring a remodeled, yet similar, Hammett House. Our goals are simple. We want to provide our guests with fine food, expertly served in a restful atmosphere, with plenty of "Southwestern Style" hospitality. Our menu is neither extensive nor expensive, but everything we do...we try to do extremely well!

Great service & wonderful food
My steak was perfectly cooked medium rare but most of all my server, Rachel , was the best! She was attentive to my dietary restrictions and it was obvious that the other servers looked up to her for direction. She always had an answer and was kind to them never condescending all the while never missing a beat with her own tables. I was seated where I could hear the conversation between the other servers and her. I'll be back every time I travel.
The food is well done home cooking. The pies are out of this world. I travel extensively and have never had better pie.

they have a huge blomming onion, best ever chicken livers, chicken , salad just about anything you want. Dont forget what Bill says " Life is uncertain, EAT DESSERT FIRST. THEIR PIES ARETO DIE FOR. TRY THEM OUT!!!
