Hammett House started operations in 1969 after almost 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Mrs. LaNelle Hammett. Now, after another 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Linda and Bill Biard we bring a remodeled, yet similar, Hammett House. Our goals are simple. We want to provide our guests with fine food, expertly served in a restful atmosphere, with plenty of "Southwestern Style" hospitality. Our menu is neither extensive nor expensive, but everything we do...we try to do extremely well!

i love their pampered chicken fried chicken.... pork chops.... hamburgers... i just love everything
down home atmosphere with the most amazing food.. our waitress was so very kind and helpful with our selections, I received a piece of pie for my birthday, their dessert pies are sooo good!! will definitely be a return customer with my family !!

I love the Hammett House! The food never disappoints. My favorites, in addition to their salads, are the fried chicken livers and liver and onions. Yummy, I can taste them now.
About 22 or more rode our Indians from Edmond to have lunch here. Very good waitress and food was awesome and visiting with new friends made. Atmosphere is cozy and clean.
