Hammett House started operations in 1969 after almost 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Mrs. LaNelle Hammett. Now, after another 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Linda and Bill Biard we bring a remodeled, yet similar, Hammett House. Our goals are simple. We want to provide our guests with fine food, expertly served in a restful atmosphere, with plenty of "Southwestern Style" hospitality. Our menu is neither extensive nor expensive, but everything we do...we try to do extremely well!

The Hammett House in Claremore does not take reservations but they were very gracious to us, set tables so we could be together, the service was A1 and the food was very good. A great group of dinners makes it worth the effort! Thank you Margaret McDermitt

Father's day special $19.99. Pork chop undercooked, no flavor -bland, corn on the cob- overcooked to mush.. on the bright side, water was good ...
I enjoyed Hammett House very much the first time I went there. When I was there this week I enjoyed it as well for its atmosphere and food quality. However the steamed veggies seemed a little over cooked. The dish was not worth the money that was paid. Service was a little slow but our waitress was pleasant and helpful. I will definitely go back and try some more of their vegetarian options!
Stopped by on our way back to Joplin from Tulsa, and WOW is all I can say. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, the atmosphere was comfortable and the food was DELICIOUS! A man we believed to be the owner stopped by all the tables to check on us and was very friendly. This will now be a regular stop we make when we go to Tulsa. Thank you!!
