I have been trying to cancel my membership due to Covid and the fact that I am unwilling to attend a gym right now. Since it is a national pandemic, I figured they would be more receptive. I got a canned email response telling me that I needed a valid medical reason and that my account would renew in December. WHAT?! What is more valid as a medical reason than a national pandemic? I have a membership with Club Loveland in Loveland,Co. I have requested a refund for the time the club was closed. They have refused even though they told the month to month members that they had the option of not paying during the closure. Extending my membership does not work for my family. I was told by the GM that it is ABC financing that is the responsible party and not the Health Club

I have dealt with ABC for years, and they are the biggest scumbags out there. They constantly "forget" that you cancelled a membership and keep charging. They even charged me for March dues when I didn't even join the gym until June. Then, try getting your money back, it be easier pulling teeth out of a rabid pit bull with AIDS. Then, they try charging me for yearly upgrade on gym I left 6 months ago. If I ever again join another gym, business with ABC is a deal breaker

Despicable handling. I cancelled my membership at Planet Fitness over the phone because of the virus months earlier. They billed me and I disputed and it was reversed. But then they billed me again for even more money than I was originally paying. The nerve.

Membership was canceled in May 2020. Local gym manager told me to turn in key fob. Went to gym and turned in key fob on May 13. No mention of a written agreement to be signed. The local manager quit. My account continued to be billed.....called ABC Financial...stopped my credit card from being billed on May 14. Received email that billing had stopped. Gyms closed in Arkansas on March 19 through May 6 for COVID. August 11th 2020 get a bill from a Collections company requesting payment for $218. So now have a ding on my Credit... read more

Horrible experience, they have breached the original contract and refuse provide documentation for phone conversations after I have been told different "terms" by different representatives. They are adding time and charges onto previously signed contracts and limiting how many months we can freeze due to covid/mask mandates/no kids care open. I have been a member for 6 years, including additional costs for challenges and training sessions, and I am disgusted at this treatment to their loyal members.

What a joke! Good Luck dealing with them when trying to cancel a membership! Their Customer Service cannot get their information correct nor can they process anything. They are rude and very unprofessional. I have been trying to cancel memberships since April and after several emails, calls and certified letters they are still trying to charge for services that I have cancelled. Not sure how else to cancel but I have tried everything they have asked and still nothing.

I followed proper steps. Went to notify the local gym about cancellation and emailed abcfinancial afterward. Received confirmation email from abc. It was 8 months ago. Thought it was taken care of. But I am still paying monthly and annual membership fee. I called them and only could talk to automatic machine which told me another payment has been scheduled for August. This is bizarre. Stop charging me and refund my money back.

This company is absolutely horrible, I cancelled my membership with the gym I was going to. After a month, I was being harassed with phone caller 5+ a day to settle a debt they were claiming I had. I asked kindly if they could stop calling me so much and the lady said than I'll send it to collections. I never once received a bill or a notice about why they were calling.
