Worst experience I have ever had dealing with a company that is there "for their customers" and the agreement that Gold's Gym sets for a year has no "out" option only a buy-out option, and that includes there training dues too. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

ABC Financial looks for ways to prevent you from canceling accounts. Not accepting emailed letters or even snail mail letters with out them being certified is a clear attempt to prevent people from ending their accounts and an unethical strategy to extort additional money from customers. The process may be legal but it is clearly not an ethical way to do business.

I cancelled my gym membership with Fit Focus in August. Since cancelling, I have received 2 unauthorized charges from ABC Financial. Called them twice and was told I need to send them a waiver form because I moved even though I already cancelled with the gym directly. They said they would email me the instructions on cancelling and never did. This is a horrible company. They require you to give 30 days notice to cancel your gym membership but when you do, they pretend like they didn't receive it so they keep charging you. There are ZERO instructions on their website about how to cancel also. I went to my gym and they told me who to contact. Went to the website for ABC to find their address. I have been trying to cancel my gym membership for months and continue to get the ring around. I was abruptly relocated and I have sent in several letters saying to cancel and magically none of them have been received. I am better off hiring a lawyer to deal with this than spending $700 to fly back to cancel my membership which apparently has to be done in person because letters are ignored by the gym as well as ABC financial who I have contacted several times.

Friendly service representatives, but terrible practices. Misplacement of documentation. Forging of documentation has also occurred to prevent cancellation of a membership. Reps state that they have conducted a formal investigation, yet it still concluded in their favor. I am shocked at the rating this company has when they have unethical practices going on.

Zero stars. Never get involved with a gym or company that bills through ABC financial. They will point fingers at each other for their mistakes and you will be awash in erroneous charges. They charged us for two gym memberships for MONTHS when we upgraded to a family pack. The gym insists this is handled through ABC financial. I attempted to cancel my Sweat gym membership through ABC financial in 6/18. Over the phone Customer service indicated I needed to submit written notice. I submitted an email and was informed that I needed to pay $138, which included an annual "enhancement fee" (for a year I would not be using to facilities) to close my account. ABC verified that my notice of cancellation was submitted and the check for the requested amount was cashed by the company. Very bad experience with ABC Financial Services. My girlfriend and I joined the Edge fitness club in 2017. She left the country in May 2018 and requested in due time the cancellation of her policy. She was asked to provide a set of documents to prove that her request was justified. She did. Her evidence was, however, rejected multiple times. It was only accepted at the end of June 2018.
