This company should be absolutely ashamed of itself for how it conducts business and I wish a larger authority would step in and shut them down. I joined a gym in San Diego, CA that was managed by ABC financial services. I was a member of the military at that time and was told from the very beginning of my contract with the gym that I could cancel as long as I provided my military orders. This company should be shut down. When my gym closed they transferred my membership to another gym at a far away location. When I contacted ABC Financial to cancel my membership, they told me they don't handle cancellations and told me to call a phone number that nobody answers. I regret ever signing their membership agreement because they clearly exist only to scam people who no longer want their services.

Tried to cancel gym membership multiple times, was told you can only cancel one if 2 ways... 1. Via email 2. Through the website 2 emails sent to correct email address both returned as undeliverable... Went through website it states to "choose reason" for cancellation, you hit the drop down box and only one option shows up which is "choose reason" and it will not let you cancel unless you choose a reason which there are none listed...
I cancelled my membership at Big Sky Fitness in Vernon, Ct 06066. I was told that ABC Financial handled membership issues and they needed to be contacted to cancel my membership. I was told that the cancellation would take 25 (twenty-five) days to take effect. I regard this as a sleazy business practice designed to guarantee ABC Financial an additional month of dues. Hello Thomas The cancelation terms of your membership are outlined in the agreement you signed with Big Sky. Most clubs ask for at least 25 days notice and you are responsible for any payments that arise during that time. ABC has to enforce the club's policy and is not authorized to make any modifications.
I signed up at *** Fitness in Mesa and was told that the signup was $20.00. I was told that there was a yearly fee, which is standard practice. But less than a month after signing up I was charged the yearly fee. If that was the case I would have been glad to pay that cost upfront. Thankfully I used my credit card instead of my debit card because they would have overdrawn my account by trying to periodically charge me varying amounts between $98.00 and $114.00. My husband signed up with Golds Gym during a seasonal position out of town. He was told by the front desk representative that he would be able to cancel for free if he sent in change of address forms. After contacting ABC financial he was told to email over the a lease form that had move in date, names, address, and signatures. He sent this in and never heard back. ABC Financial is a Loan sharking third party that holds Gym Members hostage. First of all, some guy who works at the gym tells you to signup at the gym (In my case it was ************) and makes a ton of false promises that you can absolutely cancel at anytime and it's no problem at all. Little does he tell you that this ridiculous policy auto-renews all on its own. Then when you do try to cancel, ABC Financial tells you that your card (that you've had on file for over a year) isn't working and they rack up $100 in late fees... read more

This company has been the worst company I have ever worked with. I had a gym membership that I had requested to freeze services for 3 months. The Representative was supposed to send me an email right away with my agreement number and an email to respond to, to put a hold on my account so I wouldn't be charged.
