Dealing with ABC fitness for billing is like talking to a wall. I have never been able to speak with anyone where there is not a language barrier in addition to continuing to be charged over and over for cancelled contracts with Anytime fitness.

I really liked the gym I was going to but wasn't going often so decided to cancel my membership with 3-4 months remaining in the contract. Had a terrible experience similar to others here. Got the runaround when trying to cancel ("email this address", "thanks for the email please call this number", "we can't help you, you need to email this other address") and ended up in a long email dispute where the ABCF rep claimed that there was a $149 cancellation fee and some other cancellation terms that show up NOWHERE in our signed... read more

I reached out to them to determine why I could not register for any gym classes that I paid for as part of my membership. Instead, they responded that they were cancelling my membership and that I would be on the hook for any fees per the contract. Here's the funny thing, nowhere in my email did I mention cancellation or anything remotely close to it.

Terrible business. Disgusting practice taking advantage of people during a pandemic. Unable to cancel membership. Sent multiple letters which were "never received" because in 2021 the only option to cancel is via physical mail. Filing a complaint with the BBB.

Gym told me to go to them for cancellations and freezes... ABC told me to go to the gym to handle this. I've now talked to 3 supervisors that are zero help. I'm out my last $140 during a pandemic because they were no help. 10/10 would not recommend letting them handle any of your financial situations or payments

I wish I could give less than one star. I have tried to cancel my Gold's Gym membership. I knew they were going to scam me...and they have. I followed everything they asked, and three months later they were still charging my card. They said they didn't receive the mail I sent to finalize the cancellation. And them receiving the mail is the final ****. I even TOLD them they would tell me they didn't receive my mail and they assured me they would process it immediately. This company is honestly terrible, bad communication late reply, I've told them to cancel my membership and four months later they are still trying to charge my account. Their policies are ridiculous. Terrible, and unprofessional.

I work for Crunch Fitness LLC, and we use ABC financial for billing services. I, along with many other coworkers, have seen issue after issue with ABC stealing money and continuing to bill people after signing a contract to stop the payments. ABC then refuses to handle these issues, and claims we can resolve and issue refunds in the club. However, this is false and employers within the club have no ability to provide refunds, ABC financial is responsible for all of that. Absolutely unprofessional. The company owner is a slumlord that is charging current market prices for an outdated software program. Every company that uses ABC should get together and bring a class action lawsuit to them. Hours and hours spent on technical support every month with no fix. This is not a service. It's a curse.
