History Established in 1999. Opening in Jan 1999 The owner took a building built by J. Paul Getty and A.K.Warren who started Gypsy Oil Company and was one the biggest oil companies of its time. Thus the name Gypsy , after a burlesque dancer of the day Gypsy Rose Lee . My favorite place to chill. Their cheesecake is fantastic and the staff always friendly. The atmosphere is so warm, comfortable and relaxing even when they're packed.
