History Established in 1999. Opening in Jan 1999 The owner took a building built by J. Paul Getty and A.K.Warren who started Gypsy Oil Company and was one the biggest oil companies of its time. Thus the name Gypsy , after a burlesque dancer of the day Gypsy Rose Lee . My coffee was very good...as was the chocolate croissant A comfortable atmosphere and the barista was very friendly But I’ll curtail my lounging to the seats closest to the bar in the future I noticed that rude customers had their dirty tennis shoes all over the couches in the back 😖
