History Established in 1999. Opening in Jan 1999 The owner took a building built by J. Paul Getty and A.K.Warren who started Gypsy Oil Company and was one the biggest oil companies of its time. Thus the name Gypsy , after a burlesque dancer of the day Gypsy Rose Lee . Great coffee and a unique atmosphere. We love that they have booths which are great for studying and board games. Indoor seating, outdoor seating, and right next to everything happening on Guthrie Green!
