Dan S******* of Gutter Helmet came to my mom’s house today to check her gutters. He was so kind and polite to the both of us. He got up on his ladder and inspected her gutters. He then gave us some recommendations. He also called before he arrived . We were very impressed with Dan!!!
I regret the day I got involved with Lednor. Their is vertically zero support after the gutter Helmet is installed. I have water leaking into my house and damaging my ceiling. The first appointment I made to remove a section that was not installed properly was cancelled by them with no notification to me because they were short of staffing. They said they made a call and left a voice message...there was no voice message. The follow up appointment was a no show. They told me he was at my house at 9:00 AM. When I had this system installed, it came with a lifetime warranty to keep gutters "free flowing". As others have complained, when they don't, the company now charges a $50 fee to come and "inspect" the system. I've seen this business' response: "The manufactures warranty states that the gutters will remain free flowing and if they become clogged they will be cleaned free of charge. Mr C****** Regarding the Fee we are assessing it pertains not to Warranty but anticipated work to be conducted for Non Warranty service work. For 40 years we have dispatched crews at no charge to assess and make any repairs necessary, that fact is 99% of our calls were non warranty related. Current costs for a two man team in a truck for one stop is in excess of $200 so the $50 is offsetting some of these costs. Lednor Home Solutions (the local arm of Gutter Helmet) does really poor workmanship, and then charges $50 every time you have to have them back out under their “triple lifetime guarantee.” Their customer service reps are incredibly difficult to get on the phone, and then even less helpful when you do. Scheduling them to come out takes weeks, and overall, this was the worst investment we’ve ever made.
This was a great investment into our home. I recommend this product to every home owner…
Gutter Helmet advertises that one need not EVER clean their gutters again! well ... My gutters were clogged with debris so I called Gutter Helmet - and after 2 weeks of trying to get through and leaving messages, someone finally called me back - they sent a tech out to clean my gutters - and the tech told me the gutters should be cleaned every 2 years! Gutter Helment is a wonderful company. I have two homes and I’ve used them for both. To not have to worry from season to season about leaves and debris is one stress off my mind. After several years I’ve had to have tree sap removed, which they were only a free call away. One house had to bird nest under the Helment and again they were only one free call away to come and remove the nests. I highly recommend the product and on going service they provide.

Gutter Helmet advertises that you will never need to clean their gutters. But they DO need cleaning occasionally. In the past, they would send someone to clean them out at no charge. I called them infrequently. Now they want $50 to come out. They should not be allowed to advertise falsely! Also, when it is very cold and wet, the gutters form huge icicles that hang down from the gutters which can be dangerous if they fall on a person or a car. If you are looking for maintenance free gutters, do not buy this product!

The manufacture's warranty states that your gutters will remain free flowing and if any debris does get into the gutters they will be cleaned out free of charge. The cleaning of the gutter helmet and roofing around the gutter helmet is not part of the warranty. The $50.00 dispatch fee is only to dispatch a crew to your location. If your issue is warranty related there are no additional fees to preform warranty related work.
